The association, founded in 1985, has the task of promoting a well-functioning Private Equity & Venture Capital Market in Sweden. We do this by:
- Spread facts and knowledge about Private Equity's role in the Swedish economy
- Create meeting places for industry actors in the form of conferences as well as informal networking meetings in cooperation with SVCA partners
- Organize training and seminars in cooperation with SVCA partners
- Make sure Private Equity works in a still healthy way regarding ethics, transparency and CSR
- Work for good conditions for actors to work in Sweden
- SVCA monitors legislative and regulatory proposals, referral body for the Private Equity sector
